Though I’ve racked up a significant number of paid days off and it’s high time to travel, these photos were taken in Hong Kong. Unfortunately all my plans to go to Korea have fallen through due to lack of travel buddies and the obvious: money. It’s my feeble attempt of advertising Hong Kong in hopes of enticing friends to visit me (come come!). This I do what I do best- try to fool myself into thinking I am on vacation in some paradise (hello Macau, Lamma Island) and take marvelous sun-drenched photos in hopes of injecting some exoticism into my routine life.

I must thank Sybil and her friend for giving me this dress which I originally wanted in cobalt blue. Can you imagine the potential tan line from wearing this? People have mistaken that square cutout of flesh as animal leather (somewhat accurate). It’s definitely a holiday dress so here is its debut at the Repulse Bay Hotel where we celebrated my colleague/friend’s birthday. Lunch at Spices and ice cream with the oddest flavors in the courtyard that looks like a scene out of the contemporary version of Great Expectations.
